The Amvest Living and Care Fund (AL&C Fund) invests in care homes for elderly individuals who require significant care and can no longer live independently as well as in assisted living concepts that allow people to maintain their independence.

The year of social impact

The pressure of the aging population, high construction costs and the shortage of healthcare workers continued to put pressure on the healthcare real estate sector.

The aim of the Fund is to respond to the demand for high-quality care homes suitable for people with extensive and light care needs.

Portfolio developments in 2025

In 2025, the AL&C Fund delivered 12 properties for a total of 438 units. The portfolio reached a new milestone of 121 properties, comprising of 2,717 care homes.

Structure and governance

The AL&C Fund is structured as a fund for joint account (fonds voor gemene rekening) and, effective 1 April 2025, (formally) qualifies as open-ended. The legal title to the Fund assets is held by the fund's custodian, Amvest LCF Custodian B.V.
